For noise-sensitive power designs, the TPS55010 dc/dc converter integrates FETs and a Fly-Buck topology to provide isolated power and remove ground loops. The 2W converter needs no optocoupler and provides up to 85% power efficiency. Features include output voltage set by a resistor divider and the transformer turns ratio, a switching frequency range from 100 kHz to 2 MHz, a -40°C to +150°C operating temperature range, and a 3-mm x 3-mm x 1-mm monolithic QFN package.
