IGBTs Handle High Power In Harsh Environs

Sept. 1, 2000
Designed to provide very high rated power and voltage while operating in harsh environments, the GT and GF line of IGBTs feature hermetically sealed TO-254, TO-258 and TO-3 packages with power and voltage ratings up to 270W and 1,200V, respectively.

Designed to provide very high rated power and voltage while operating in harsh environments, the GT and GF line of IGBTs feature hermetically sealed TO-254, TO-258 and TO-3 packages with power and voltage ratings up to 270W and 1,200V, respectively. The devices are manufactured with non-punch-through (NPT) technology. All of the devices in the GT series are designed for operation up to 40 kHz, hard switching. The GF devices also operate at up to 150 kHz hard switching and at 300 kHz in resonant applications.
