Noise-prone, switch-mode environments are the intended destination for the GMT-72xx series of low-dropout voltage regulators. Compared to conventional LDOs, the regulators are said to perform at low quiescent operating current to significantly lower dropout voltages. They also offer enhanced Power Good flag immunity to noise transients, reducing the tendency to toggle falsely. Line and load regulation are also improved compared with competing devices, it's claimed. Devices come in adjustable and fixed-output versions at 5V, 4.85V and 3.3V. Adjustable range is from 1.2V to.75V.
