Built using a high-performance BiCMOS technology, the TS861 micropower voltage comparator is said to offer an excellent speed-to-power consumption ratio and is fully specified at 2.7V, 5V and 10V, allowing the device to be used in a wide range of applications. The comparator offers rail-to-rail inputs, making it particularly useful in low-voltage applications. It also offers current consumption of just 6 µA coupled with fast response time of typically 1.5 µs for a 10-mV overdrive with supply voltage of 2.7V.Offered in DIP8, SO8 and SOT23-5 packages, the TS831 comparator is suited for new applications as well as existing designs.
