The DS1831 multi-supply sysem monitor is claimed to be the first single-chip monitor that can track four system voltages simultaneously while outputing 3.3V and 5V and the first to include master manual reset inputs. An alternate version, the DS1831A, substitutes a watchdog function for one of the voltage monitors and master manual reset inputs. These devices are also designed to afford customized control over individual power supplies in multi-voltage systems while reducing component count.
The device operates at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C and is available in 16-pin DIP and SOIC packages. Targeted applications include T1/E1 servers, wireless signal control, and data communications hubs. Pricing is $2.85 each/1,000 with availability from stock.
