Leading the charge at International Rectifier’s booth display at Electronica 2014 will be demonstrations of the company’s latest power-management solutions. In the spotlight will be IR’s GanPowIR gallium-nitride-based (GaN) platform, as well as its just-released ICs for ac-dc switch-mode power supplies (SMPS). Also on tap for demos are the CHiL digital controllers and SupIRBuck integrated voltage regulators for dc-dc applications, in addition to new motor-control and automotive solutions. IR also plans to participate in the Automotive Conference, on the topic “IR dedicated chipset foor digital power conversion in micro-hybrid cars.”
