Designed for portable applications that require many control features and fail-proof startup, the Power Management family of microprocessor supervisory circuits offers users a plethora of options. The AAT3520/2/4 series µP reset circuits operate on supplies down to 1.2V with a typical quiescent current of 1 µA. Monitoring power, these devices apply a reset signal for 150 ms minimum when Vcc rises above a fixed threshold. Output options include push-pull active high, push-pull active low, and open drain. The AAT3526/7/8 series monitor power and enable manual reset via a de-bounce pin. They support thresholds from 1.2V to 4.6V and offer the same output options as the AAT3520/2/4. For added protection, the AAT3532 includes a programmable watchdog timer. It supports manual reset and incurs a reset condition for a minimum of 250 ms while Vcc boots up.
