In conjunction with National Semiconductor, the company is offering its WebSIM simulation software on a pay-per-use basis directly from National Semiconductor's web site. Using a standard web browser, designers can select parts and qualify their performance on-line, thereby reducing the time and cost of prototyping as well as time to market. The WebSIM application allows users to vary test conditions and perform tests that include transient response, Bode plots, and min/max load. Simulation data generated includes interactive schematics, graphs, and tables.Capabilities will be constantly upgraded and become immediately available once posted to the web.
