BGA Production Socket Provides Less Than 2 nH Of Lead Inductance

Sept. 1, 2000

Developed to give designers an easier and more reliable method for installing BGA packages in prototype and production systems, this line of BGA prototyping and production sockets guarantees contact under the highest shock and vibration conditions. The sockets are said to be reliable and allow circuits to run at high speeds. The BGA socket has a horizontal clearance of 6 mm and a vertical clearance of less than 10 mm. Pricing starts at $125.00 each.
