Cables Minimize Environmental Impact

Damage to electronic equipment in the event of a fire can be significantly lessened, it’s claimed, with these new Halogen Free cables, which feature lower smoke generation, lower toxicity, and lower corrosivity than cables with most other insulation materials. The cables can be used in a wide range of applications, including public transportation, control systems equipment, telecommunications, data processing, military, intra-cabinet applications, and in confined spaces where secondary fire damage is a concern. The cables feature low outgassing of 0.67%, minimizing external contaminants, an important benefit for clean manufacturing environments. The cables can be used with industry-standard tooling.
