Controllers Have Remote Power Management Capability

June 1, 2001

The cross-platform-compatible IPC34XX-NET series of intelligent power controllers provide Ethernet, dial-up or RS-232 ports for remote power control of computer systems. The controllers fix power-related problems via a reboot and can sequence system power either up or down. The IPC34XX-NET series provides control for up to 80 outlets at one IP address or phone line and local on/off control of each outlet. The controllers are also available without the network-ready internal hardware. The IPC3401 systems are rated for an I/O voltage of 85 to 256 Vac/20A and the IPC3402 units are rated for 120 Vac/20A. Prices range from $599 to $849.
