Exerciser/Analyzer Card Meets 66-MHz PCI Specs

July 1, 1999

Developers of high-performance chips, cards and systems are promised early and extensive insight into their designs with HP E2928A exerciser and analyzer. Complying with the 66-MHz PCI spec, currently the fastest speed for high-end systems in the computer industry, the new test card combines the capabilities of a 64-bit exerciser, timing analyzer and protocol checker. Said to be useful throughout the product development process—from evaluation and optimization through validation—E2928A single-slot card offers complete PCI state analysis, real-time protocol checking, and the ability to provide bus performance statistics. It also contains GUIs that can be tailored to specific applications.
