Four-Channel Sensors Interface Standard PC Serial I/O Ports

Oct. 1, 2000

Designed to provide complete solutions for data acquisition systems based on personal computers and other processor-based equipment with standard serial I/O ports, the D5000 family of four channel sensors convert analog input signals to engineering units. They transmit in ASCII format to any host with RS-485 or 232 ports. These modules can measure temperature, voltage and current and provide direct connection to a wide variety of sensors while performing all conditioning, scaling, linearization and conversion. All modules in the family come with screw-terminal plug connectors and are priced at $250.
