The IHLP-2020CZ-01 low-profile, high-current inductor boasts a 5.18-mm by 5.49-mm footprint and 3.0-mm profile. Standard inductance values range from 0.10 µH through 15 µH. With a frequency range up to 5 MHz, the new IHLP inductor serves as a space- and power-saving solution for voltage regulator module (VRM) and dc-to-dc converter applications. The IHLP-2020CZ-01 offers a saturation current range from 2.5 A up to 27 A, typical DCR from 3.0 mOhm to 252.0 mOhm, and maximum DCR from 3.16 mOhm to 265.0 mOhm. It handles high transient current spikes without hard saturation. Packaged in an RoHS-compliant, Pb-free shielded, composite construction that reduces buzz noise to ultra-low levels, the new device is specified for an operating temperature range of 55°C to +125°C and has high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration.
