High-Voltage Transformer Has Corona-Free Design

Sept. 1, 1999

The advanced design of Model 4253 high-voltage transformer is said to ensure that the high voltage signal is virtually corona-free. The device can drive high impedance loads requiring up to 7500 VRMS. The device can be custom designed to meet a wide range of medical and other applications. Providing primary-to-secondary isolation of up to 18 kVdc, the transformer is well-suited for applications requiring a high-voltage, low-power signal such as defibulators, medical and industrial lasers, ion generators for powder coating and painting equipment, cathode ray tube transformers, and more.
