Hoods, Housings Fit Outdoor Uses

Feb. 1, 1999

HPR hoods and housings now accommodate Han 3A/4A, Han 8D and Han Q 5/0 connector inserts for outdoor applications. The HPR series are pressure resistant to IP68, corrosion resistant, and EMI/RFI protected by 360° conductivity. Furthermore, the Han 3 HPR hoods and housing offer seals that make the products UV tolerant. Fixing holes in the housing are encompassed by the seal and therefore no special sealing is required. The design allows use of larger cables due to the PG 13.5 cable entry.
