Isolation Transformer Meets BSI Safety Criteria

June 1, 2001

Designed for voice and data applications in European markets, the SPT-016 telephone interconnect isolation transformer meets the requirements of the BS EN 60950 safety standard, as well as FCC, DOC and UL standards. Intended for use in dry circuits, the device is rated for a maximum voltage of 250V with an impedance ratio of 600 ohms:600 ohms and a hipot rating of 3,750 Vac. The transformer measures 0.64 in.2 and 0.6" high and is constructed of UL 94V-0 materials. Other features include an insulation resistance greater than 100 Megaohms at 500 Vdc and a pin out that is symmetrical and can be rotated 180° without changing electrical performance. Production-quantity pricing is approximately $4.50 each.
