Lead-Acid Batteries Won’t Spill

The Independence PowerLock Series of industrial front-termination VRLA batteries has a non-spillable rating under the Code of Federal Regulations, International Air Transport Association’s provision A67 and the International Maritime Dangerous Goods code. This rating means the batteries can be shipped without fear of short-circuiting. The Independence PowerLock battery is available in 110 Ah (PL110) and 150 Ah (PL150) capacities. Applications are distributed power, wireless, PBX, CATV, and other limited space equipment. The PL150 is designed to provide power to 48V systems on a single shelf of a standard 23" rack. The battery lets users configure a system with a 750 Ah capacity rating in a 7-ft. relay rack.
