Miniature TCXO/VCTCXOs Feature High Stability

Oct. 8, 2008
The M Series TCXOs/VCTCXOs deliver tight frequency stability. The devices are well-suited for use in applications such as Stratum 3, GPS receivers, instrumentation, femtocells, FTTH, and FTTC.

The M Series TCXOs/VCTCXOs deliver tight frequency stability in a subminiature 5- by 3.2-mm SMT package. The devices are well-suited for use in applications such as Stratum 3, GPS receivers, instrumentation, femtocells, FTTH, and FTTC. Using analog temperature compensation, the M Series can hold sub-0.28 ppm holdover over multiple temperature ranges. Stratum 3 freerun is guaranteed for 20 years. Outputs are available as LVCMOS or clipped sine wave. The oscillators are available for 3.3-V or 5-V operation. They draw only 2 mA (typical) at 16.384 MHz in clipped sine mode. Jitter is less than 1 ps rms from 12 kHz to Fo/2. Available temperature ranges include 0°C to 70°C and ?40°C to 85°C. The RoHS-compliant devices come in tape-and-reel packaging. Volume pricing is $5.00. CONNOR-WINFIELD CORP., Aurora, CA. (630) 851-4722.
