Piezoelectric Receiver Fits Cellular Phones

This piezoelectric receiver for cellular telephones has a proprietary front damper system and is said to provide better performance compared with conventional piezo receivers. Less than 2 mm thick and weighing less than 1 gram, the unit offers a sound level of 108 dB with an input of 1Vrms with a GSM-matched sound mask. Model CD14 piezoelectric receiver is compatible with automatic insertion processes or is available with traditional flying leads. Maximum input voltage is 5Vrms and typical electrostatic capacity is 65,000 pF ±30%.
