Pluggable Connectors Offer IDC Convenience

Jan. 1, 1999

A pluggable connector that provides easy installation, maintenance and reconfiguration in automation systems, the Actuator Sensor Interface (ASI) connectors employ insulation displacement technology to eliminate cutting and wire stripping. The connectors are well-suited for use in process control environments using ASI bus or other two-conductor technologies. The two-pole units provide separate power and signal lines for 22 to 18 AWG fine-stranded wire. Rating is 250V at 3 mA to 3A.
