Portable Digital Meter Locates Static

Feb. 1, 2000

With the Model 7905 meter and one hand to operate it, engineers can track down the source of static electricity problems. The static meter will indicate surface voltage and polarity on objects carrying charges of up to ±20 kV at a distance of one inch from the surface. Accuracy is 10% of full scale. Other Model 7905 features include a large digital readout, a pushbutton memory hold for readings, and an automatic power-down to conserve battery life.
