Resettable Strap Devices Protect Batteries

The VLR230 polymetric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) resettable strap devices provide very low series resistance and enhanced protection for lithium ion (Li-Ion) and nickel metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable battery packs. Series resistance is typically 15 milliohms.
Other features include a 2.4s or better trip time at 10A, hold currents from 700 mA to 2.3A, and a narrow low-profile form factor. Depending on volume, prices start from $0.26 to $0.40 each with delivery times from six to eight weeks ARO.
