Through-Hole Pots Boast Of Mounting Flexibility

Jan. 1, 1999

For sensing the position of a lever or gearshaft, float assembly, or other mechanical device, this line of through-hole potentiometers can be directly installed on an existing feature of the equipment, such as the pivot shaft of a lever arm assembly, or anywhere mechanical motion or position information must be changed into an electrical signal. The components are highly customizable for specific applications, examples of which include control of air/gas mixture in a gas-stove application or of agricultural equipment.
