Transmitter/Receiver Modules Promise High Stability Operation

Aug. 1, 2001

Claiming to provide highly stable operation in a 10% smaller package compared to similar devices, the FMRTF3 transmitter and FMRRF1 receiver modules require no external components. They operate on the 433.92 MHz frequency band and provide data rates of 9.6 kHz over distances up to 800'. Frequency stability with no adjustment required is said to be derived from the modules' thick-film, hybrid technology. the transmitter accepts data directly from a microprocessor, encoder or any other CMOS/TTL source and the receiver includes a micro or decoder compatible CMOS/TTL output. The transmitter requires 8 mA at 2.7 to 14V and the receiver operates on a 5V supply. Quantity pricing starts at $10 each. OKW ELECTRONICS, Bridgeville, PA. (412) 220-9244.
