Twisted Pair Cable Suits Internal LVD SCSI Apps

Sept. 1, 1998

A new line of mass termination Twist "N" Flat cables are available and designed for next-generation "Ultra 2" internal LVD SCSI application linking SCSI drives and controllers. The LVD line has fully laminated twisted pair sections, offering increased levels of impedance and skew stability, and -38 dB near end crosstalk isolation at 40 MHz. Differential impedance ranges from 110 to 120 ohms, depending on construction. Drives can be spaced anywhere along the cable length, with a minimum twist length of 3.5".
