USB Connector Family Gets Vertical Receptacle

Designed for use in computer peripherals, the latest addition to the firm's line of connectors and cable assemblies complying with the Universal Serial Bus (USB) standard is a vertical A type receptacle. The KUSBV series vertical USB A type receptacle is augmented by several options including A and B type plugs and single right-angle sockets, a stacked A type socket, and cable assemblies with A-to-B plugs. The shell and contacts of the receptacles are phosphor-bronze and contacts are standard gold flash or 30 microinches of gold plating.
