Video Camera Well-Suited For Use In Machine Vision Systems

Oct. 1, 1999

Developed specifically for industrial machine vision applications, CVC-1000 progressive scan video camera is able to acquire full frame 649 x 480-pixel images at a rate of 60 frames/s over a single channel. The high-speed vision is well-suited for can and bottle cap inspection, with the camera providing high quality digitized image data synchronously without the filtering or sampling operations required with most standard cameras. The high quality image data lets systems make better decisions about location and defects of subjects.
