Jan. 25, 2024
Check out what our editors saw at CES 2024 and their takeaways about the latest technology.

Check out Electronic Design's coverage of CES 2024.

What you’ll learn

  • Some interesting technology that was not on the show floor.
  • Top trends at CES 2024.
  • Editor’s insight into some interesting tech at the show.

Endeavor Business Media consists of a lot of business-to-business (B2B) publications, and a number of them sent editors to cover this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Most of their meetings were off the floor, so some of the technology that they talk about in the video was not available to many attendees.

We gathered four of our editors to provide a discussion of what they saw and the trends they noticed (watch the video above). The editors include Kay Nadler with VehicleServicePros.com, Paul Rothman with SecurityInfowatch.com, David Maliniak with Microwaves & RF, and William Wong with Electronic Design.

I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University. I still do a bit of programming using everything from C and C++ to Rust and Ada/SPARK. I do a bit of PHP programming for Drupal websites. I have posted a few Drupal modules.

I still get a hand on software and electronic hardware. Some of this can be found on our Kit Close-Up video series. You can also see me on many of our TechXchange Talk videos. I am interested in a range of projects from robotics to artificial intelligence.
