Making Accurate Power Integrity Measurements Using an Oscilloscope
The prosaic DC power supply is receiving scrutiny as supply voltages continue to get smaller. Supply tolerances are getting tighter as users try to decrease power, increase yield and minimize supply induced signal noise. This webcast will review tools and techniques for making quality power integrity measurements using an oscilloscope.

Description
Why this webcast is important: The prosaic DC power supply is receiving scrutiny as supply voltages continue to get smaller. Supply tolerances are getting tighter as users try to decrease power, increase yield and minimize supply induced signal noise. This webcast will review tools and techniques for making quality power integrity measurements using an oscilloscope. It will begin with an overview of some of the challenges to making power integrity measurements and methods to overcome these challenges. This will be followed by useful techniques for identifying sources of power rail noise and means of estimating their contribution to the noise on the supply and how much clock and data jitter is caused by noise on the power rails.
