Bob Pease wrote his Pease Porridge column on Electronic Design for many, many years. Bob obtained a BSEE from MIT in 1961 and was a staff scientist at National Semiconductor Corp., Santa Clara, CA, for many years. He is fondly remembered for his responses in Bob's Mailbox.

Bob developed a number of analog chips for National Semi including the LM331 voltage-to-frequency converter and the LM337 adjustable negative voltage regulator. He was always teaching new engineers. He hosted The Bob Pease Show (see video below).
