Combining low noise and low power while operating at the high speeds required in communications, the AD8615/16/18 family of precision op amps are supplied in single (8615), dual (8616) and quad (8618) versions. The devices use the company?s DigiTrim digital trimming technique, which eliminates the need for accuracy adjustments. They operate over a 24 MHz signal bandwidth, and total harmonic distortion (THD) is specified at 0.002%. The devices can run off power supplies from 2.7V to 5V and have an output drive capability of up to 150 mA, making them suitable for audio line drivers and other heavy loads in communications and instrumentation applications. Offset voltage is specified at 65 µV maximum, noise is 8 nVvHz, and input bias current is 1 pA maximum. The AD8615 is supplied in a 5-lead TSOT package, the AD8616 in 8-lead MSOP and narrow SOIC packages, and the AD8618 in 14-lead narrow SOIC and TSSOP packages. Pricing in for the AD8615/16/18 is $0.75, $1.15 and $2.05 each/1,000, respectively. ANALOG DEVICES INC., Norwood, MA. (800) 262-5634.
