With a forward current capability of 60A and a reverse voltage of 100V, the MBR60100CT Schottky rectifier is said to handle higher current than other rectifiers in the TO-220AB package. The device is intended for secondary rectification of ac/dc and dc/dc converters. Other applications are as a freewheeling diode and polarity protection in power supplies in applications in computers, telecom exchanges, HDTV equipment and any system incorporating high-power switchmode supplies. The device can operate in 100W to 300W power systems. Forward voltage is specified at 0.64V and maximum reverse leakage current is 20 mA.
