Designed to improve the performance of today’s TFT LCDs, the EL5524, EL5624, EL5724, and EL5824 multi-channel gamma buffers integrate 4, 6, 8, and 10 gamma buffers, respectively, and each includes a single high-speed common reference voltage (VCOM) amplifier. The amplifier specifies a 60 MHz bandwidth, 90 V/µs slew rate, and 200 mA peak output drive. Each device provides rail-to-rail input and output performance, an individual slew rate of 15 V/µs, and a 140 mA peak output current. Other shared features include single-supply operation from 4.5V to 16.5V and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. Prices for the EL5524, EL5624, EL5724, and EL5824 are $1.46, $1.61, $1.75, and $1.90 each/10,000, respectively. INTERSIL CORP., Milpitas, CA. (888) 352-6832.
