The RF3198 dual-band power amplifier (PA) module forecasts the lowest functional cost of ownership for handset models focused on the entry level and replacement handset markets. The device offers improved isolation, harmonic performance and cross-band coupling to reduce RF complexity and increase design flexibility related to antenna and switch selection. These improvements are also said to simplify calibration and increase manufacturing yields. The RF3198 is pin-for-pin compatible with the RF3146 family of PowerStar PA modules.
