The first in a family of second-generation FET quad mixers, the PE4122 integrates both RF and LO balun networks on a single chip. This highly integrated device features an input IP3 of greater than 30 dBm at an LO drive of 17 dBm and a conversion loss of less than 8 dB.
Operating over the receive bands for PCS and 3G that range from 1.8 to 2 GHz, the FET quad mixer has a typical LO-RF and LO-IF isolation of 38 dB. Soon to be introduced ICs in this series will also target cellular GSM and DCS1800 standards.
