Shooting for defense and aerospace applications, the 12-member JAN/TX/V family of high-conductance ultrafast switching diode arrays now carry DSCC qualifications. Available for both through-hole and surface-mount applications, the arrays are available in several standard hermetic package configurations. Each device in the family integrates multiple 1N4148 switching diode chips, yielding a rugged construction that particularly suits situations requiring high reliability under severe environmental conditions. Other features include capacitance values of less than 4 pF, an isolated diode-junction construction to eliminate cross talk, switching speeds of less than 20 ns (less than 10 ns on 1N6100, 1N6101, 1N6510, and 1N6511 devices), and leakage currents of less than 100 nA at 40V.
