\[July 11, 2006\] Emerging as the industry's smallest, the uPA2350 and uPA2351 power MOSFETs promise to reduce the footprint of traditional dual N-channel MOSFETs for battery-protection applications by as much as 86%. The devices, with integrated gate-protection diodes, measure 1.62 mm x 1.62 mm x 0.48 mm, enabling the reduction of battery-pack size, and exhibit on resistances of 28 mΩ (uPA2350) and 32 mΩ (uPA2351). Additionally, both MOSFETs are RoHS compliant. Available in August, price for either device is $0.35 each/10,000. NEC ELECTRONICS AMERICA, Santa Clara, CA. (800) 366-9782.
