Supporting voltages up to 28V, the AAT4910 half-bridge, dual MOSFET driver reportedly specifies the industry’s lowest impedance in its class for multiphase dc/dc converters. Employing a logic input, the device drives both high and low-side N-channel MOSFETs. Operating from a 5V rail, it relies on circuitry capable of driving the high-side N-channel MOSFET with an input up to 28V and, when driven low, the enable input turns off the driver and reduces operating current to less than 1 µA. Other features include over-temperature protection that turns off the device when die temperature exceeds 140ºC. Available in an eight-lead, 2 mm x 2.1 mm SC70JW package, price is $0.48 each/1,000.
