Promising extended battery life in portable electronics, the OPA348 (single) and OPA4348 (quad) op amps feature a speed/power ratio of 1 MHz at a supply current of 45 µA. The OPA348 operates on supplies from 2.1V to 5.5V and an input bias of 0.5 pA. Both devices provide an input common-mode voltage range that extends 200 mV beyond the supply rails and their output swings to within 25 mV of the rails. Other features include a 108 dB open-loop gain, 1 mV input offset voltage, and a temperature range from -40ûC to 125ûC. The OPA348 in SOT23-5 and SO-8 packages is priced at $0.49 each/1,000. The OPA4348 comes in a TSSOP-14 and SO-14 priced at $1.05 each/1,000. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC., Santa Clarita, CA. (800) 477-8924, ext. 4500.
