Reported as the first temperature compensated (TC) Zener diode packaged in an ULTRAmini SOT-363 surface mount case, the CMKTC825A relies on a proprietary process to provide a stable reference voltage of 6.2V via a voltage change of less than 0.28 mV/°C over the temperature range of -55°C to +100°C. This, according to the company, is a considerable improvement over standard Zeners, which typically exhibit a voltage change of 500 mV over the same temperature range. The device occupies 4.2 mm2 of circuit board space and exhibits a profile of 1 mm. Target applications include test and industrial equipment. Pricing starts at $0.36 each/3,000 on a 7" reel.
