Designed for 460- and 900-MHz applications, the NE5511279A LDMOS FET is suitable for use as a power amplifier in UHF band two-way radios, cellular repeaters, fixed wireless access, and other short-range transmitter applications. It can be used as an output stage for medium power applications or as a driver device. The device operates from 7.7V batteries and delivers up to 40 dBm of output power with a power-added efficiency of 48%.
