Four 200-MHz operational amplifiers are designed for low-power video applications. The NCS25xx family consists of 200 MHz devices that provide differential gain of 0.02%, differential phase of 0.1° and current draw of just 1.1 mA. The NCS2500 is a current feedback type having a slew rate of 450 V/µs (typical) and can drive NTSC/PAL video over 75? lines. It comes in SC70-5, SOT23-5 and SOIC-8 packages. The NCS2501 provides the same functions as the NCS2500 but includes an enable input to minimize battery drain in portable devices. It comes in SC70-6, SOT23-6 and SOIC-8 packages. The NCS2502 is a low-power (650 µA) version of the NCS2501 where the full 200 MHz bandwidth is not required. It is available in the same packages as the NCS2501. The NCS2530 is a triple (three op amps) version of the NCS2501, where each op amp can be disabled independently to provide design flexibility. It is packaged in a TSSOP-16. Pricing ranges from $1.05 to $1.53 each/10,000. ON SEMICONDUCTOR, Phoenix, AZ. (800) 282-9855.
