Optimized for portable applications, the MAX9765/9766/9767 audio amplifiers integrate a 750-mW bridge-tied-load speaker amplifier, a stereo headphone amplifier, mic preamps, and input multiplexing in 5- by 5-mm 32-pin QFN packages. Operating from a single 2.7- to 5.5-V supply, these ICs provide a PSRR of 95 dB and a THD+N of 0.003%. Power-saving features include a 10-mV offset voltage to minimize dc-current drain through the speakers, a 12-mA supply current, and a 10-µA shutdown mode. Pricing starts at $1.50 in quantities of 1000.
