\[July 10, 2006\] Based on bipolar CMOS and double-diffused metal oxide semiconductor technology, the TB2924FG is the first member of a family of Class-D power amplifiers for consumer applications including TV and home and portable audio applications. Operating from a single supply, the surface-mount device delivers up to 10.5W by two bridge-tied load channels with 88% efficiency typical at 8Ω, 15V, and 10% THD without the aid of heatsink. The amp is capable of providing up to 21W into 8Ω loads and 19.5W output into 4Ω loads. Other features include an operating temperature range from -20°C to 75°C, typical standby current of 0.2 mA, standby and mute switching functions, master and slave oscillation control, and an array of protective circuitry.
