With accolades the likes of industry’s highest performance at the lowest power, three additions to the PowerWise line of differential amplifiers suit a variety of comm, test, instrumentation, defense, and space applications. The LMH6552 current feedback differential amplifier claims to deliver the industry’s highest-bandwidth at 1.5 GHz with the lowest power consumption at 112 mW. In terms of performance, the LMH6515 digital-controlled variable gain amplifier specifies a noise figure of 8 dB and a 40-dBm output intercept point at 70 MHz. The LMH6555 is reportedly the industry’s only differential driver optimized for dc-coupled, eight-bit data acquisition applications with input frequencies up to 750 MHz. It provides an SFDR of 53 dB at 750 MHz and requires no external circuitry for output clamping, common-mode control, and gain. Prices for the LMH6515, LMH6552, and LMH6555 are $5.25, $3.95, and $5.95 each/100, respectively. NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR CORP., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 272-9959.
