Designed for power management applications in battery operated circuits, the TC1031 combines a low power voltage reference with a programmable hysteresis comparator and shutdown in a single 8-pin package. The device operates from low-voltage, single supply power sources and is said to eliminate the need for multiple discrete parts while saving space, lowering supply current, and improving overall system performance. The minimum operating voltage is 1.8 V and the active supply current is 6 µA. Packaged in an 8-pin MSOP, pricing for the device begins at $1.10 each/1000.
