Boasting of 45% lower on-resistance and 75% more current handling capability than previous generation devices, the 600V K-Series HEXFET power MOSFETs are designed for hard-switched topologies. These include off-line, switch-mode power supplies rated to 300W and higher, such as those found in telecomm and datacomm systems. The company has also expanded the 500V K-Series to address the same applications. The 600V K-series includes four MOSFETs with on-resistances ranging from 130 to 280 m_ and maximum current ratings from 22A to 40A at 25°C and 14A to 24A at 150°C. The 500V K-Series offers on-resistance of 160 to 290 m? and maximum current ratings from 17A to 32A at 25°C and 11A to 20A at 150°C. Pricing begins at $1.96 each/10K for the 600V MOSFETs and $1.39 for the 500V devices. INTERNATIONAL RECTIFIER, El Segundo, CA. (310) 252-7105.
