Groomed for high-voltage industrial applications, the OPA211 and OPA827 are the first precision op amps employing the company’s BiCom3HV complementary bipolar 36V silicon-germanium process. The OPA211 bipolar-input amp specifies a 1.1 nV/vHz voltage noise, 80-MHz gain bandwidth product, and an operating current of 3.6 mA. It also offers rail-to-rail output swing, a 100 µV offset voltage, 0.2 µV/°C offset-voltage drift, and a settling time of less than 1 µs. The OPA827 JFET-input amp features a voltage noise of 4.5 nV/vHz, 250-µV offset voltage, 1-µV/°C offset-voltage drift, 400-nVp-p frequency noise, 18-MHz gain bandwidth product, 22-V/µs slew rate, and a THD of 0.0004% at 1 kHz. Both devices are specified for operation from -40C to +125C. Available in DFN-8, MSOP-8, and SO-8 packages, the OPA211 is priced at $3.45 each/1,000. Available in MSOP-8 and SO-8 packages, the OPA827 is priced at $5.75 each/1,000. Both devices are sampling now with volume production set for the second quarter of 2007.
