A 5-Msample/s conversion rate, an 88-dB SNR, and a 101-dB SFDR are attainable with the ADS1605 16-bit delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC). In addition, THD is −99 dB, and input bandwidth is 2.45 MHz. Packaged in a 64-lead TQFP, the chip operates from 5-V analog and 3-V digital supplies. Unit pricing starts at $32.05 in lots of 1000.
